Near the Akihabara station there is a small sectioned off area that is quickly becoming a gamer's Mecca. Gamers from all over the country travel to Yodobashi-Akiba to play "Dragon Quest" for the Nintendo DS.
Their heads are lowered in quiet contemplation basking in the soft glow of their hand held devices of salvation. They battle it out and share in the adventure near neon signs and bustling streets.
Although they are mere inches away from one another there is no talking, only shared meditative expressions and clickity-clacks of action and focus onto glowing screens of the divine.
Drawn to the adventure are people of all ages and walks of life. If you are one of the millions of worshipers of the Nintendo DS, Yodobashi-Akiba is calling you.
